SQL Application Developer
Our fantastic client is a high transaction ecommerce company. They are adding several SQL Application developers to their dynamic team. These roles will work within a team to design, support, and optimize SQL solutions in a high transaction environment. Thee roles will be centered around optimizing and designing, not reporting.
ā¢ Qualified candidates must have Ecommerce and OLTP environment experience to be considered.
ā¢ Proof of eligibility for direct hire required
What you will be doing:
ā¢ Work with developers and project management in a highly transactional OLTP environment to build new and support existing SQL code, structures, and data
ā¢ Evaluate and performance tune existing procedures and data
ā¢ Analyze business needs and software requirements to help determine feasibility of work within time and resource constraints
ā¢ Project life cycle involvement ā planning, estimates, documentation, development, testing and deployment
What you bring to the table:
ā¢ 3-4 years of recent experience with MS SQL Server 2016+, preferably in an e-commerce environment
ā¢ Experience with designing SQL Structures and procedures to support highly transactional applications.
ā¢ Experience fine-tuning SQL functions and stored procedures called hundreds or thousands of times per minute.
ā¢ Deep understanding of database design principles
ā¢ Experience with Data modeling
ā¢ Creating tables for relational data, views, stored procedures, and indexes.
