What You Will Be Doing • Delivering daily morning sessions that inspire and prepare student-athletes for the day's challenges • Conducting individual motivation coaching rooted in academic achievement and personal development • Guiding life skills workshops through storytelling, reflective exercises, and hands-on coaching methods • Leading afternoon athletic training that cultivates grit, collaboration, and accountability • Monitoring student development and maintaining elevated expectations for mindset and performance alike Basic Requirements Sports Performance Coach key responsibilities • We are looking for former elite-level athletes with accomplishments at the highest tier of competition — Olympic athletes, World Champions, professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans • Bachelor's degree in any discipline • Demonstrated experience leveraging sport as a tool to mentor others and teach life skills • Evidence of motivational leadership in athletic, educational, or professional environments • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship • Willingness to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX About Sports Academy Texas Sports Academy is Where Future Champions Excel in Academics and Athletics Traditional schools force student-athletes to choose between excelling in academics or committing to their sport. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
