We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to support our hospice patients with communication and swallowing needs in a home-based setting. What We Offer Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour (based on experience) Flexible scheduling (Full-time, Part-time, PRN) Paid time off Supportive, team-oriented culture Opportunity to make a real difference in patients’ lives Responsibilities Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized care plans focused on comfort, safety, and quality of life Provide interventions to support communication, cognition, and safe swallowing Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques and compensatory strategies Recommend diet modifications and adaptive equipment as appropriate Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team (nursing, social work, chaplain, aides, physicians) Accurately document patient care and progress Qualifications Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Tennessee Experience in hospice, home health, geriatrics, or skilled nursing preferred Strong knowledge of dysphagia management and communication disorders Compassionate, patient-centered approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a home-based setting Why Join Interim Hospice?
