Special Education Teacher Work From Home - North Carolina
A special education teacher position is available in South Mills, NC, providing onsite support for students requiring specialized instruction. This contract role involves managing a caseload of 20-25 students with diverse learning needs. The work schedule is from 7:50 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Designing and delivering individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
ā¢ Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
ā¢ Collaborating with other educators and support staff to enhance student learning.
ā¢ Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
ā¢ Providing telehealth support when necessary to meet student needs.
Qualifications or desired experience:
ā¢ Valid teaching license or certification in special education.
ā¢ Experience working with students in special education settings.
ā¢ Ability to manage a caseload effectively and implement tailored instructional plans.
ā¢ Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and staff.
ā¢ Familiarity with telehealth tools and virtual instruction methods is a plus.
