Special Education Evaluation Specialist Needed | Albuquerque, NM
A committed school district in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area is looking to hire a licensed Educational Diagnostician for a full-time, onsite position during the upcoming school year. This role is essential in facilitating timely and accurate evaluations for students referred to Special Education services. The selected candidate will also provide guidance and technical support to school teams to help meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred to Special Education
• Assist in the development of IEPs and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective strategies for student success
• Provide ongoing support and consultation to general and special education teams
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid New Mexico Educational Diagnostician License
• Minimum of five years of experience serving individuals with disabilities
