About the position
Responsibilities
• Lead private and small group Spanish classes using a communicative approach.
• Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Adapt lessons spontaneously to meet the needs of students.
• Teach a variety of classes and courses, both in-person and online.
• Facilitate a process for students to connect with the language on a deeper level.
• Work with adults in small group and private learning settings.
Requirements
• Strong command of Spanish in terms of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Experience in language training is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Ability to build confidence in adult learners and guide them towards achieving their goals.
• Dedication to teaching with minimal reliance on translation.
Nice-to-haves
• Bilingual capability to teach both English and Spanish.
• Experience in creating dynamic and enjoyable lesson plans.
