Job Summary:
A Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals for medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations. They develop recruiting strategies, build relationships with candidates, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Talent Acquisition: Identify, attract, and recruit healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, therapists, and administrative staff.
ā¢ Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, networking, and referral programs to find top talent.
ā¢ Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet job requirements.
ā¢ Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients to ensure a positive hiring experience.
ā¢ Job Posting & Advertising: Create and post job descriptions on various platforms to reach potential candidates.
ā¢ Compliance & Credentialing: Ensure all candidates meet licensing, certification, and compliance requirements according to healthcare industry standards.
ā¢ Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide hiring solutions.
ā¢ Negotiation & Offer Management: Negotiate salaries, benefits, and employment contracts with candidates.
Qualifications & Skills:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
ā¢ Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in healthcare or medical staffing.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of healthcare roles, certifications, and hiring regulations.
ā¢ Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple job openings and prioritize tasks effectively.
ā¢ Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software.
Work Environment:
ā¢ May work in a healthcare facility, staffing agency, or remotely.
ā¢ Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and adaptability.
ā¢ Possible travel for job fairs, interviews, and networking events.
