Solution Architect - Enterprise

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a talented presales professional to join us as a Solutions Architect in Thailand, covering the Thailand market. In this role, you will work with customers to build a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the customer engineering, development, and operations teams, while gaining an understanding of their business needs and aligning them with our solutions. You’ll work with a specialist team to design and deliver evaluations, proofs of concepts, and pilots of our offerings and you’ll play a crucial role in bringing together internal cross-functional teams to satisfy our most challenging customers. As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a customer advocate to build the best solutions in the areas of Container Platform, Platform-as-a-Solution (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Solution (IaaS), cloud management, DevOps, and middleware, ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. You’ll need to have an excellent working knowledge of the latest technology architectures for the enterprise space, their supporting best practices, and associated tools and solutions.What you will do: Based on customer engagements, perform a discovery of needs, find out the most effective methods of support, close the sales of proposed projects, and document proofs of conceptsDeliver successful Red Hat solution workshops i.e. Container Platform, DevOps, Virtualization and IT Automation for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and impact customer use cases and architectural design decisionsDeliver and support high-quality proofs of concepts and pilots with local teams that increase customer confidence in our offeringsDemonstrate expertise in modern application development practices by evangelizing and speaking at customer and partner events and high-profile industry conferencesWhat you will bring: 5+ years of experience in presales1+ year(s) of experience in cloud and container-based solutions like OpenShift by Red Hat, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), or RancherExperience with the design and operation of medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures, databases, and application systems with high-availability requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience presenting to IT managers and C-level executives at large firmsSolutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and servicesThe following are considered a plusExperiences with Automation framework and Infra-as-a-Code tools i.e. Red Hat Ansible and/or TerraformExperiences with the latest application development technologies and middleware implementation practicesExperiences with agile development and related toolset for rapid application development and deploymentAbout Red HatRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
