Learn more at insightsoftware.comJob DescriptionOverview: The Solutions Architect will play a critical role in the successful implementations of new customers to our Planning, Budget and Financial Consolidation platform. This role involves designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions, ensuring a smooth transition, and minimizing downtime. The Solutions Architect will work closely with customer stakeholders, senior executives, management, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure success of projects by achieving steady measurable progress toward defined goals while efficiently executing according to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technology solutions
• Define, design, implement and test EPM solutions for clients
• Ensure the successful execution of the implementation plan
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during the implementations
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the successful implementation of the EPM platform
• Conduct post-migration evaluations to ensure successful delivery and to identify areas for improvement
• Prepare, distribute, and present status reports
• Lead status and working meetings
• Communicate changes, risks, actions, issues, and decisions and implement action plans as required
• Hold teams accountable for their commitments and assist in removing project roadblocks
• Identify and champion process improvement opportunities
• Manage customer expectations for deliverables
• Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives and leverage organizational resources to improve efficiency
• Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
• Maintain project documentation and provide feedback for product documentation improvements
• Know and use all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concerns
• Assist and participate in Scoping Requirements meetings.
• Assist with preparation of PS SOW’s
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Be mobile and travel to client locations as needed
QualificationsPreferred Education and Experience:
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or Business Systems
• Experience with EPM solutions such as SAP BPC, One Stream, Anaplan, CCH Tagetik or similar.
Travel Requirements:
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Personal Attributes:
• Experience in accounting or finance with strong focus on budgeting and forecasting
• In-depth knowledge of accounting processes and financial planning & analysis.
• Excellent technology skills related to product implementation.
• High proficiency in Excel, along with strong skills in other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint), and basic computer skill
• Ability to answer intermediate-level product questions on various functionalities.
• Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple competing tasks
