Software QA Tester
Job Description
We are actively seeking a Software QA Tester to join our talented, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience working in QA Testing/Support role with experience debugging, troubleshooting, and creating/executing test plans. Preference given to candidates with experience in automation and performance testing with JIRA. We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
Ā *Only local Candidates CURRENTLY residing in the Central FL area will be considered. Must be able to work on-site at our office in St. Cloud, FL 34769**
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Coordinate and execute automated test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures, and scripts
Ā Develop automated test scripts in accordance with requirements
Ā Exercise knowledge and skill to ensure that test environments are set up accurately
Ā Develop automated tests using Java
Ā Create and update user manuals and technical documentation
Ā Test IT hardware, software, systems, and network
Ā Perform User Acceptance Testing and other software testing efforts as needed
Ā Test issues such as system integration, performance, and system security
Ā Work with Development and Operations Team to troubleshoot and resolve coding issues
Qualifications:
Ā Bachelor's Degree in technology based major or related field
Ā 2+ years of software testing or SQA
Ā Proficient at creating test plans and scenarios
Ā Familiarity with JIRA preferred
Ā Experience with 508 Compliance Testing preferred
Ā Experience in automation and performance testing
Ā Must be highly motivated with exceptional communication skills
Ā Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ā Ability to collaborate and work well in a cross functional environment
Ā Basic knowledge of software development lifecycles
Ā Some familiarity with Programming/Software Development such as Java preferred
Ā Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization/project
Ā Ability to understand, communicate, and analyze requirements; Ability to identify gaps in requirements
Ā Solid knowledge of software testing approaches and methodologies
Ā MUST be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid Driver's License
Ā MUST be able to pass an FBI background investigation and drug test
