Software iOS Engineer

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to design and develop mobile applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.ResponsibilitiesImplements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), receiving structure and oversight from more experienced staffFollows well-established internal conventions and standard proceduresUnderstands internal standards & processes and applies them to make technical decisionsCollaborates with peers, manager, and project lead to gain understanding of tasks and review solutionsMay contribute to code & design reviewsDesign and develop mobile application, mobile SDK and frameworks/common librariesUtilize skills in native mobile development to build great mobile applicationsParticipate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and project related team activitiesWork with other engineers, architects, product management, QA and operations teams to develop innovative solutionsUnderstand and meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development principles and product goalDevelop functional test automationDevelop mobile application prototypesIterate with our UX team in an Agile environment to bring features from conception to launchSkills1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experienceAt least 1 year of hands-on iOS development experienceStrong understanding of multithreaded and asynchronous programming conceptsProven experience integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIsExperience designing and developing iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUISolid understanding of iOS architectural patterns, including MVVM or MVIA team player who values collaboration, innovation, and inclusionInterested in keeping up-to-date with the latest technological developmentsComfortable working in an Agile environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsInterest in the payments industryBenefitsFlexible work environmentEmployee shares optionsHealth and life insuranceCompany OverviewVenmo offers an app that allows users to share and make payments with friends for a variety of services.
