Software Engineering Advisor (Hybrid)
The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor which is a Band 4 Career Track Role with eviCore healthcare MSI, Inc.
Responsibilities:
BI Data Engineer building ETL processes to allow data to flow seamlessly from source to target.
Load and enhance dimensional data models and leverage code to apply business rules to ensure data is clean and is interpreted correctly by all business stakeholders.
Perform code reviews and quality assurance and participate in sprint ceremonies. Provide on-call support to offshore operations teams and train operations teams on ETL processes being developed.
Troubleshoot and address issues with data or ETL process and fine-tune existing code to make processes more efficient.
Maintain and create documentation to describe data management processes. Analyze reports with various tools including Micro Strategy, Tableau, and SSRS. Support user questions on data management processes and results.
Hybrid work schedule.
Requirements:
Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus three years of experience in data warehouse integration and development or closely related position.
Must have experience with: Microsoft Azure; SQL, Python, Scala, PowerShell, and Unix; Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server; Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SSIS, Informatica, IICS, and Teradata utilities; SSRS; Git Lab, TFS, and VSS.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
