This is a hands-on position for delivering a high-quality SaaS product. You will automate key parts of the software and certify its quality and correctness before delivery to the customer. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, motivated, and can work without too much supervision. What You'll Do Contribute to the automation test coverage using our built-in-house frameworkReview requirement specifications and technical design documentation to provide timely feedbackCreate and improve testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation test scriptsIdentify, document, and verify bugsParticipate actively in functional, system, integration, and regression testing activitiesWork with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other QA Engineers in an Agile team environmentDevelop deep expertise in the product Requirements 3+ years of QA/Development experience2+ years of Java development experienceProven experience with the automated testing tools Selenium and TestNG/JUnitDeep understanding of Software QA methodologies and approaches in a software company with short-release cyclesExperience in writing test cases that cover both sanity and in-depth testing including but not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency testsWorking experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL ServerCreative & ambitious person with a passion for excellence and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and facilitation skillsA good team player who is independent and fast learning who takes ownership to resolve issuesBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience Nice to Have Experience in SaaS based Enterprise SoftwareExperience working in Unix/Linux environmentsExperience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence is an advantagePharma life sciences industry experience Perks & Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurancePTO and company-paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving program Compensation Base pay: $70,000 - $135,000 CADThe salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
