Responsibilities Develop software features that thousands of our customers rely on daily to reach millions of consumers to drive their business forward Craft highly scalable real-time data pipeline that processes billions of events weekly across data sets growing to petabyte scale Work on deep analytics system that provides insight into hundreds of terabytes of data Help architect and design robust and high performance data processing and storage systems leveraging new data bases to serve different internal and external use cases Contribute to open source data processing technologies Dig into performance and scalability issues to drive breakthrough solutions Ship code early & often in an agile fashion, pairing with product management to craft better software by soliciting feedback from thousands of end users Skills Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 1 year of experience in job offered or closely related engineering role Experience with Distributed system architectures Experience with Caching technologies including Redis Experience with Relational Database Management Systems including MySQL Experience with Connection pooling Experience with Queuing and streaming technologies like RabbitMQ, Pulsar, or Kafka Experience with JavaScript Benefits Participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan Variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles Equity Sign-on payments A comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility Company Overview Klaviyo is an automation and email platform designed to help grow businesses.
