Senior Accountant
We are seeking an Experienced Accountant (a minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting experience), interested in an opportunity for professional growth and advancement. For the time being, you will need to work remotely, and have work-at-home capabilities. Training will be conducted online via screen sharing and video conferencing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Federal and state income tax returns for individuals, business entities and trusts;
• Preparation of monthly & annual compiled and reviewed financial statements;
• Year-end income tax planning & projections; and
• Special projects such as buy/sell analyses, cash flow projections and business valuations.
The ideal candidate should have reached a “Mid-Level Staff Accountant” or “Supervisor” level position.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the public accounting sector; and
• CPA designation or a CPA candidate.
In addition to the above requirements, it would be helpful if YOU:
• Have experience working with CCH tax planning and tax projector, CCH Access Tax, Accounting CS and QuickBooks accounting software, as well as Microsoft Excel extremely desired
• Are an effective communicator with above average verbal and written skills; and
• Are able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
