Software Engineer II

Qualified candidates will demonstrate immediately applicable technical aptitude as well as a propensity for learning new tools and techniques quickly in a fast-paced environment. Excellent candidates will be responsible for helping with development efforts within the team with new feature development and other product enhancements while staying aligned with the requirements to ensure all-around product quality. How you'll add value: Write high quality code adhering to industry and Restaurant365 best coding practices.Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.Participate in the engineering and evolution of our Payroll and HR products.Participate in peer code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution of platform outages or defects.Support continuous delivery and DevOps practices to ensure fast, frequent, and reliable software releases.Work closely with the Product Managers, UX Designers, Principal and Senior Engineers to understand and code to the requirements.Ensure change and release management processes are followed.Keep abreast of latest technology trends and maintain a continuous professional development focus.Know when to communicate and escalate a critical decision. What you'll need to be successful in this role: Detail-oriented, strong organizational skill with ability to meet deadlinesBS/MS in Computer Science or 2+ years of equivalent experienceIn addition to 3+ years in an engineering position creating code-based solutions and toolsFluent in C# and .NETExperience in Java is a huge plusExperience with modern software engineering practices and technologies: SQL and no-SQL DBs, Microservices, Design Patterns, CI/CD, TDD, Unit TestingExperience with enterprise softwareExperience with cloud platformsExperience working with APIsExperience with distributed version-control systems i.e. GitExperience troubleshooting and diagnosing issuesExperience in Agile development conceptsExperience with client-side frameworks and technologies a huge plus (i.e. React, Angular and Bootstrap) R365 Team Member Benefits & Perks This position has a salary range of $99,000 - $138,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
