At Abound, you will work on the best-in-class open-banking decision making platform, and learn how a operate with low-latency, at scale.Our technology stack: Python (including FastAPI, OpenTelemetry, procrastinate, SQLAlchemy, Uvicorn), Java, Postgres, MySQL, Liquibase, Retool, Docker, AWSWho you are:One or more years professional experience in software engineeringProficiency in writing well-structured Python code with type hintsExperience maintaining codebases for business-critical systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in Git for version controlStrong SQL skills for efficient data management and retrievalKnowledge of lending products and business processes will be beneficialFluency in both Chinese and EnglishWhat you'll be doing:Develop new features for backend services for the B2C lending lifecycle—from onboarding new customers and assessing affordability to loan disbursement and repaymentParticipate in the entire SDLC, helping to design changes, review code, build tests, and coordinate deploymentsCollaborate closely with colleagues in Product and Design as well as users (both internal and external) to understand, challenge, and refine requirementsProvide second-line support within business hours, helping to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues that impact our customersApply strong SQL skills to troubleshoot and improve the performance of data management and retrieval across our databases
