Software Engineer role As a Software engineer you will help us to build incredible products that empower SMEs to do business globally and grow faster. You will work with a multidisciplinary team who wants to raise the bar every day and to solve hard problems by finding creative solutions. Our team is distributed across the United States, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. Don't worry! This position is remote. We respect the people’s time, so we always offer as much flexibility as possible. What this role is about... We run most of our platform on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) on top of k8s. We are using Node.js/TypeScript and Python (Node for most of our services, and Python for our data pipelines and models), as well as React for our frontend. Our architecture is based on DDD (Domain Driven Design), event sourcing and CQRS. All our projects are built and deployed with our CI and CD pipelines. We continuously do PRs and code reviews. What knowledge and skills are required? You know how to build and deliver reliable, high quality software consistently. You know how to build maintainable and effective tests cases with high code coverage. You don't need to have a bachelor degree, but do need relevant experience in the field (5+ years). Growth mindset, curiosity about new tools and technologies. Never stop learning. A desire to work hard in a fast paced, dynamic environment with high energy and mission driven colleagues. A self-starting attitude: You work independently and effectively. Exceptional project management abilities - you are known for getting things done. You are self-motivated, solutions-minded, and proactive in solving problems quickly and with best practices. Extra bonus points if you’ve worked in FinTech startups. Extra bonus points if you've are an expert in TypeScript/Node.js and/or React. Extra bonus points if you understand and have used Domain-driven design, Event sourcing and CQRS before.
