This role is responsible for orchestrating portfolio management and governance, ensuring operational clarity, and driving strategic alignment across various digital initiatives.ResponsibilitiesOwn and run weekly, monthly, and quarterly OSCQ DT staff operating rhythms end‑to‑endOwn all content, templates, materials, and preparation for leadership meetings, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignmentLead developing content for key leadership forums, enterprise reviews, and executive‑level presentationsFully own action and deliverable tracking across leadership forums and ensure timely closureMaintain alignment, structure, and readiness across all leadership meetings and key touchpointsLead the transformation, implementation, and adoption of portfolio management and governance processes and tools across OSCQ DT teams and key stakeholdersDesign, standardize, and maintain frameworks for prioritization, intake, decision-making, and value realizationInfluence cross functional teams (DT, ES, Cyber, GRC, OSCQ, Engineering, Business Units) to adopt and operate within a shared portfolio governance modelDrive continuous reporting that provides real-time insights into progress, risks, decisions, value delivered, capacity demands/gaps, and financialsOwn portfolio issue/risk/decision/action tracking and ensure timely closureConsolidate and synthesize strategies, long‑range plans, and roadmaps from across OSCQ DT teams into a unified, executive‑ready OSCQ DT strategy viewCreate and enforce roadmap standards, templates, and norms to ensure consistent, enterprise‑ready artifactsDrive visibility into cross‑program dependencies, capacity constraints, and long‑term investment prioritiesEnsure roadmap changes and actions are tracked, transparent, and closed with disciplineBuild high‑quality executive‑level presentations, narratives, and decision materials for Senior Leadership Team and enterprise steering bodiesSimplify complex program portfolios into concise, outcome‑oriented updates that support executive decision‑makingEnsure all SLT actions are documented, tracked, communicated, and closed on time.Partner with the Executive Director to prepare for key leadership engagements and represent OSCQ DT prioritiesLead major initiatives that span across OSCQ DT teams, including culture improvements, training programs, communication enhancements, and execution transparency effortsDesign and optimize internal operating processes to eliminate friction, increase alignment, and accelerate decision‑makingDrive consistency in action management, follow‑through, and accountability across all programs and leadership teamsSkillsTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience10+ years of experience with meaningful examples of leading portfolio management, project mgmt., consulting, and/or digital transformationExperience building and scaling governance models, operating rhythms, and portfolio reportingExperience in strategic planning, prioritization, capacity modeling, and action trackingStrong executive communication and storytelling capabilitiesProven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex matrixed environmentExperience driving organizational change and maturing ways of workingExperience in manufacturing, aerospace/defense, industrial digitalization, or regulated environmentsExperience building or leading program management teamsSAFe/Agile, PMP, or similar credentialsBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife insuranceShort-term disabilityLong-term disability401(k) matchFlexible spending accountsFlexible work schedulesEmployee assistance programEmployee Scholar ProgramParental leavePaid time offHolidaysAnnual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreementCompany OverviewRTX operates as an aerospace and defense company as it solves the hardest problems in aerospace and defense.
