Software Development Engineer in Test II

FloQast is looking for a Software Engineer in Test that will play a key role in the quality of high impact features on the FloQast product line. This individual will identify product and engineering opportunities that help us build solutions that exceed our customers quality expectations. The right candidate should have a track record of testing, deploying, debugging, and optimizing customer facing applications in a fast paced environment. What You'll Do Write automated tests for high quality, user focused experiences from the ground up using Jest and Selenium and with knowledge of React, NodeJS, and MongodbLeverage AWS, GitHub Actions, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3, Lambda, and Step Functions to ensure features are correct, reliable, and meet performance needs of our usersDevelop and implement simple, yet effective solutions that significantly increase deploy frequency, reduce lead time, or decrease defect rateOwn and improve quality through the full SDLC, daily releases, and collaborate with the team in the resolution of issues across various environmentsCollaborate on our technical vision. Participate or lead discussions and implementation on multiple complex projectsContinuously act on our customers’ product feedback, data, and growth needs to epitomize an agile environment by always working on the most important thingsContinuously improve our engineering process, tools, and systems to increase the team's ability to do more with less What You'll Bring 1-3 years of professional full stack testing experience at 1 or more referenceable companies doing web app development, RESTful API, or CI/CD test development.Proficiency in JavaScript, Jest, and Selenium. Being able to think, develop, and code testing patterns and practices at each level of testing including static, unit, integration, and end-to-end. Compensation is not limited to base salary.
