Software Developer (Remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Software Developer to join our Global IT team at Costco, one of the world's leading retailers. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and implementing solutions for our global warehouse arrangement, working closely with a talented team of professionals in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Job Summary:
Design, develop, and implement software applications for our global warehouse arrangement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Systems Architects and Product Managers, to extend the capabilities of our global warehouse arrangement
Develop and execute unit tests to validate code changes and ensure high-quality solutions
Participate in scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
Provide 24/7 on-call application support for our global station arrangement and related applications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Master-level understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery and AngularJS
Experience with Git, RESTful services, and testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and NUnit
Expertise in Web Markup, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of IT
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Azure
Experience with Azure DevOps
Understanding of cloud design implications and experience with Azure
