Social Media Manager

Job Overview Our client is seeking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to support and grow their online presence. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, take initiative, and consistently produce engaging content aligned with the brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing social media content, primarily on Facebook, while exploring opportunities to expand into other platforms. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and manage social media content, primarily on Facebook Create engaging posts, including captions, graphics, reels, and stories Design simple yet effective visual content using Canva or similar tools Publish travel deals, client experiences, and promotional content Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner Maintain a consistent brand voice and engaging content strategy Generate ideas for campaigns, promotions, and audience engagement Repurpose existing content (e.g., itineraries, client trips, supplier deals) into social media posts Assist in expanding presence across additional social media platforms Grow the social media audience and track/report performance metrics Essential Qualifications Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business Strong writing, communication, and creative skills Proficiency in Canva or similar graphic design tools Highly reliable and able to work independently Self-starter with the ability to manage social media platforms with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience in the travel industry Basic skills in video editing and creating reels Familiarity with Meta Business Suite or other social media scheduling tools Additional Requirements Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work Ability to create content that feels both personal and aligned with the brand Willingness to grow and expand the role over time Work Setup Part-time role Non-voice position Communication Tools Email Facebook Messenger Zoom (as needed)
