Our mission at King of the Curve (KOTC) is to make studying smarter, faster, and more engaging for students everywhere. We believe no one should drown in notes or waste hours on ineffective study methods. With our app, lectures instantly become flashcards, quizzes, and interactive study games — making learning fun, ADHD-friendly, and predictive of how you’ll perform on test day. We’ve helped thousands of students study less and score higher, but there’s still so much more to do — and that’s where you come in.

From gamified learning tools to authentic, peer-to-peer style content on social media, our team is obsessed with building experiences that resonate with students. About the Role
We are seeking a Creative Writer for Social Media to script ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms. As part of our social growth team, you’ll craft fun, relatable, and disarming scripts that feel like real student content — not ads.
The ideal candidate is deeply in tune with trends, knows what makes content go viral, and can capture the humor and authenticity of student life. Your work will help shape videos that students stop, watch, and share.

You will…
• Write short, scroll-stopping prompts and scripts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms
• Develop relatable, peer-to-peer storylines and POVs that blend naturally into feeds
• Capture the energy, humor, and culture of student life in authentic ways
• Collaborate with our social media team and UGC creators to bring your ideas to life
You have…
• Experience writing or brainstorming content for TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms
• A strong understanding of viral trends, FOMO-driven hooks, and short-form storytelling
• A knack for casual, peer-to-peer writing that feels authentic and disarming
• Curiosity, creativity, and a finger on the pulse of student culture
