Social Media Consultant
We’re a passionate team of indie game publishers and developers who love helping great games find their audience. From cozy farming sims to chaotic roguelikes, we work closely with our developers to craft thoughtful marketing strategies—and now we’re looking for a social media consultant to help bring those strategies to life.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a self-directed, results-oriented Social Media Consultant who can take ownership of campaign plans, execute with consistency, and bring creativity and clarity to every post. This isn’t a role for someone who needs constant check-ins. We’re looking for a doer—someone who thrives on follow-through and is comfortable managing the full content pipeline from strategy to publishing.
You’ll collaborate with our internal marketing team and developers to:
• Build and maintain content calendars from scratch; or implement and improve on provided marketing plans
• Execute planned posts across Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
• Develop creative assets (graphics, video snippets, reels, etc.) using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or Premiere
• Track performance metrics like engagement, followers, and wishlist growth
• Optimize future content based on insights and past performance
• Engage directly with players and communities via Discord, Steam forums, and social replies
• Spotlight user-generated content and community highlights
• Think critically about the _why_ behind each post, not just the _what_
Here are the logistics:
• This role is fully remote
• $35/hr
• Up to 20 hours per week
Bonus Skills (Highly Desired):
• Experience running paid social campaigns on TikTok, Twitter/X, Instagram, or Meta
• You’re a gamer yourself!
• Familiarity with indie game audiences and marketing for PC/console titles
