SOC Incident Response Specialist

Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents. Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and respond to security incidents. Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and emerging threats to proactively enhance incident response procedures. Configure and maintain security tools and systems to detect and prevent cyber attacks. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on security incidents and response efforts. Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners and vendors. Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to security incidents outside of regular business hours. Document incident response procedures and maintain accurate records of security incidents and their resolutions. Continuously improve incident response processes through automation and standardization. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to incident response and data protection.
