Short Film Production Lead (Weekly YouTube Series – Remote)

Job Description We run a successful short-film YouTube channel and are looking for one highly capable production operator to fully own the creation of one short film every week — consistently, without excuses. This is not a beginner role. This is not a creative sandbox. This is not a one-off gig. What You’ll Be Responsible For (End-to-End Ownership) You will be fully responsible for: • Casting actors for each weekly shoot • Coordinating schedules and locations • Filming the short film • Editing and post-production • Delivering a final 4K video that matches our exact style • Uploading/posting per instructions Scripts, story direction, and SOPs are provided. Execution is on you. Requirements (Read Carefully) You must: • Have prior experience producing narrative or cinematic video content • Be able to self-manage actors and shoots • Own or have access to professional camera, audio, and lighting gear • Be reliable with weekly deadlines • Be comfortable signing a work-for-hire agreement (we own all content) • Be able to operate independently with minimal hand-holding San Diego-based is a plus, but not required if you can manage production locally.
