The primary responsibility of a Shell Crew Member is to provide a Clean, Friendly, and In-Stock experience for every customer. As a Crew Member, you will transact customer items, balance cash drawers, process exchanges and refunds, and assist in stocking merchandise. Responsibilities
Β Execute a Clean, Friendly, and In-Stock experience for every customer
Β Accurately transact customer items for checkout on POS units and all acceptable methods of payment
Β Transact beer purchases in accordance with all state alcoholic beverage laws
Β Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
Β Process exchanges and refunds per company policy
Β Accurately settle shift Pay Point reports
Β Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
Β Assist in stocking, rotating merchandise, and marking labels
Β Serve as the first responder to customer complaints
Β Train new Crew Members
Β Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Β Must be flexible and able to work weekends, holidays, and storeΒs busiest days
Β Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
Β Listen to the needs of the customer and communicate clearly
Β Attain mastery knowledge of P.O.S. functions
Β Basic math skills
Β Able to function in a fast-paced work environment
Β Must be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side, and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Β Perform cleaning and light maintenance with prescribed chemicals
Β High School Diploma or GED preferred
Β Relevant Cashier experience is preferred
