SAIC is looking for a SharePoint Developer Associate to develop and support SharePoint solutions for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver user-friendly SharePoint applications and ensuring they meet quality and usability standards.ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain SharePoint applications and sitesCollaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly solutionsAssist in developing and customizing SharePoint components using client-side technologiesHelp ensure SharePoint applications meet quality, performance, and usability standardsParticipate in technical reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharingSupport project management by providing status updates and identifying potential challengesFollow governance policies, including security standards, to maintain site integrityDocument technical solutions and assist in creating development plans and estimatesSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldAbility to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship0-2 years of experience with SharePoint development, including client-side scripting and web technologiesFamiliarity with JavaScript, jQuery, REST API, and SharePoint client object model (CSOM)Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and XSLT for customizing SharePoint site appearanceExperience working with SharePoint content types, lists, web parts, and workflowsExposure to SharePoint integration with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Power BI, Power Automate, and PowerAppsKnowledge of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and workflow development is a plusAbility to troubleshoot front-end issues and collaborate effectively within a teamStrong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail in documentationWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentCompany OverviewSAIC specializes in IT, enterprise IT, engineering, and professional services.
