Our mission is to create the go-to workflow for modern web development.RoleAs a Service Reliability Engineer 2 at Prismic.io, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the robust, scalable, and intelligent infrastructure that underpins our AI-powered platform. You’ll enable our autonomous development squads to build, deploy, and operate their products independently, while ensuring the reliability and performance our customers expect.Your Mission(Should You Choose to Accept It) - Design the Blueprint for Autonomy: Create and evolve tooling that empowers our development squads to truly own their systems from conception through production and beyond, embodying our "you build it, you run it" philosophy.- Build Self-Service Infrastructure: Develop intuitive platforms that let teams provision, configure, and manage infrastructure without relying on centralized operations.- Forge Resilience into Our DNA: Implement monitoring, alerting, and auto-scaling systems to support the reliability of 20,000+ high-traffic websites.- Automate Operations: Build automation that handles repetitive operational tasks, freeing our developers to focus on innovation rather than maintenance.- Champion Observability: Develop advanced observability solutions, giving teams the ability to autonomously create deep insights into system behaviour and performance as well as alerting.- Infrastructure as Code: Expand our Infrastructure as Code capabilities using tools like SST & Pulumi, treating our infrastructure with the same discipline and craftsmanship as application code.- Mentor the Builders: Guide development teams in adopting SRE practices and tools, fostering a culture where reliability is everyone's responsibility.Are you the one? Ideally, you will bring:- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Go, JavaScript, etc.)- Experience deploying and managing complex applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, etc.)- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, SST)- Expertise in monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, AWS Cloudwatch)- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies- Strong problem-solving skills and a systems thinking approach- AI Enthusiast: Passion for leveraging artificial intelligence in infrastructure, such as using AI for predictive monitoring, automated incident response, or optimizing system performanceBonus points:- Experience with Jamstack architectures and headless CMS platforms- Familiarity with Next.js and Nuxt.js ecosystems- Background in supporting high-traffic web applications- Contributions to open-source infrastructure or reliability projects- Experience implementing "you build it, you run it" models successfully- Track record of building self-service platforms for developersIf you don’t tick all of the Bonus point boxes - no worries, we still encourage you to apply!
