SEO Specialist – Remote | Boutique Digital Agency (US-Based)
About the Role
We're a boutique US-based digital agency with 15+ years in the industry and a leadership team with nearly three decades of hands-on digital experience. We're a small, tight-knit shop — which means this is a meaningful opportunity to do real work that matters, not get lost in a corporate machine.
We're looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our remote team on an ongoing basis, supporting a portfolio of clients across multiple verticals.
What You'll Do
Develop, execute, and optimize SEO strategies across multiple client accounts
Conduct keyword research, technical audits, on-page optimization, and competitive analysis
Deliver clear, professional monthly SEO reports to clients via email
Report to and collaborate with an internal account manager
Work within our Google Workspace and Basecamp environment
Requirements
Demonstrated track record of SEO results (please include case studies or measurable outcomes in your proposal)
Expert-level proficiency with SEMrush — this is non-negotiable
Strong written English skills; you'll be crafting client-facing email reports
Self-directed and reliable in a fully remote setting
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Nice to Haves
Experience with Google Ads (PPC) and/or Meta advertising
Familiarity with Basecamp for project management
Compensation
Commensurate with experience and demonstrated skill set. Please include your rate in your proposal.
