As a Senior Underwriter, you will:
Analyze health benefit plan characteristics and evaluate case risk to determine pricing
Develop Fully Insured and Level Funded comparative benefit packages for new business and renewals
Negotiate fees/rates and plan options with internal and external partners
Provide technical subject matter expertise to sales staff and district offices
Support Marketing in completing requests for proposals and complete ad-hoc projects and reporting
What You'll Bring:
1+ years of underwriting experience
Proficiency with MS Office suite products, specifically MS Excel
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Residence within commutable distance to Minnetonka, MN
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of Financial Underwriting experience in the healthcare industry
Proven effective negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
