Senior UI Developer - Remote Opportunity

Join our innovative team at Aeetna! We're seeking a talented and passionate Senior UI Developer to contribute to exciting projects with a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with time in our Hartford office. This role offers a competitive salary of $27-$35 per hour and the opportunity to make a real impact on the future of healthcare technology.

Job Responsibilities:
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces for our applications. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with designers and other engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Developing and maintaining user interfaces using technologies such as React, Material UI, Typescript, and Java Springboot.
Working with cloud platforms like Google Cloud and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Outfit, Argo).
Creating and maintaining designer entryways for programming interfaces and stages.
Providing technical leadership, troubleshooting complex issues, and identifying areas for improvement.
Contributing to the architecture and design of our applications.
Working with both internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective UI solutions.
Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our applications.
Staying up-to-date with the latest UI technologies and trends.


Required Capabilities:

7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on UI development.
3+ years of experience as a lead engineer.
3+ years of experience building and managing software projects.
Proven experience with React, Material UI, Typescript, and Java Springboot.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Argo).
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Capabilities:

Experience in the healthcare or e-commerce industries.
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and platforms.
Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).


Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
