Role Description


This position involves working as a Senior Test Engineer for our R&D team in Chennai, India, focusing on Analytics and Data Management software.



Execute test plans and strategies for HBK software, focusing on the development and execution of test scripts for Automated / Interactive testing of product(s).


Contribute with other team members to ensure all software errors are identified and reported.


Assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems.


Contribute to the development of the software by collaborating with software testers and developers based in Europe.



Qualifications



5 - 8 years’ experience in similar previous roles.


Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science or Information Technology.


Knowledge of testing processes, tools and methodologies.


Knowledge / experience of Agile Software Development & Testing.


Programming experience (C#, JavaScript or similar).


Knowledge and hands-on experience on API Testing using REST API.


Knowledge and experience of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using Azure DevOps.


Knowledge on UX testing.


Knowledge and experience working on Jira would be an advantage.


Knowledge on Sound & Vibration Engineering would be an advantage.


Candidates who also hold Agile or ISTQB Software Test certification would be an advantage.

Fluent in written and oral English.
