Los Angeles, CA (Remote – Pacific Time Preferred) | $180K–$210K base + bonus (OTE $300K - $350K+)
Overview
We’ve partnered with a planning-focused wealth firm supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, and they’re looking to add a Senior Tax Manager to their growing team.
This is a client-facing, advisory role — not a traditional compliance position. You’ll work alongside financial advisors to deliver high-impact tax strategies across complex client situations.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead tax planning strategies for HNW/UHNW individuals and families
• Advise on trust, estate, and wealth transfer planning
• Support business owners with entity structuring and liquidity events
• Review tax returns (prepared externally) for accuracy and strategy alignment
• Partner directly with advisors on holistic planning conversations
• Translate complex tax concepts into clear, actionable recommendations
What They’re Looking For
• CPA required
• 10+ years of tax experience
• Background in Private Client Services (PCS), wealth management, or family office
• Experience with HNW individuals, trusts, and complex tax structures
• Strong interest in planning and advisory vs. compliance
• Comfortable working directly with clients and advisors
