**Job Summary**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing exceptional support through various communication channels. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service, and you'll be empowered to make decisions that drive positive outcomes.

**Responsibilities**

* Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
* Communicate with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
* Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints in a fair and respectful manner
* Stay up-to-date on our products and services to provide accurate information and answer customer questions
* Process orders, forms, applications, and requests in a timely and accurate manner
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
* Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary to ensure seamless customer support
* Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process and suggest improvements
* Manage a team of junior customer service representatives and provide guidance and support as needed

**Position Summary**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for answering questions and resolving issues based on phone calls, letters, and other forms of communication from members, providers, and plan sponsors. You'll triage resulting rework to appropriate staff, provide excellent customer service for high-volume inbound provider calls, and conduct extensive claims research on multiple platforms to assist providers with payment questions.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**

* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
* Experience in a highly transactional call center environment
* Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills
* High-speed internet access (25 Mbps or higher) and consistent connection
* Ability to work in a remote environment with a direct connection to the router (not Wi-Fi)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience working in a healthcare or customer service environment
* Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to junior team members
