Senior Strategy Consultant - Gaming & Entertainment

Our client, a prestigious management consultancy, is looking for a Senior Strategy Consultant to join their globally distributed, remote-first team. This role focuses on providing strategic advisory services to clients within the dynamic gaming and entertainment sectors. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, developing innovative business models, and guiding clients through complex strategic challenges in areas such as digital transformation, new market entry, content strategy, and operational efficiency. As a remote-first position, you will leverage collaboration tools and best practices to ensure seamless client engagement and internal teamwork, regardless of physical location.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the gaming and entertainment industries, including emerging trends in digital media, esports, streaming, and interactive content. You will lead client engagements, conduct rigorous market analysis, and develop actionable strategies that drive growth and competitive advantage. This includes advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, product development, and go-to-market strategies. You will work closely with executive leadership teams, product managers, and marketing departments to translate strategic vision into concrete results. Mentorship of junior consultants and contribution to the firm's thought leadership in this sector are also key components of this role.
• Responsibilities include:
• Leading strategic consulting engagements for clients in the gaming and entertainment industries. Conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling. Developing and presenting strategic recommendations for new product launches, market entries, and business model innovation. Advising clients on digital transformation, monetization strategies, and customer engagement. Facilitating workshops and strategic planning sessions with client teams. Building and nurturing strong client relationships at the executive level. Contributing to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations. Mentoring and developing junior consultants. Qualifications:
• MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of relevant consulting experience or equivalent industry experience in gaming, media, or entertainment. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, and business development within the specified sectors. Strong understanding of digital technologies and their impact on the entertainment industry. Proven ability to lead projects, manage client relationships, and deliver high-impact results. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
