As an engineer on this team, you’ll be focused on designing, implementing, and delivering the Seek platform in the environments in which we operate. Our platform is available to customers today as a hosted SaaS application, and also as an application running inside Snowflake via Snowpark Container Services. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement product features and functionality that leverage Seek’s ML coreBecome an expert in the features and operations of our runtime cloud environments (GCP and Snowpark Container Services)Scope and lead new projects, taking them from concept to operational servicesAdapt Seek’s platform to the capabilities of our cloud environments as needed, for example authentication or monitoringReview and improve your teammates’ design docs and PRsAssist in hiring activities for the R&D orgRequirementsStrong, demonstrable skills in Python or related languagesExperience building and operating scaled services on public cloud infrastructureExperience designing distributed services and architecturesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, and penchant for creating clarityProven experience in operating independently on significant projects - for example, as a tech lead on new initiativesStrong test-driven approach to building highly reliable softwareBonus points if you have...Experience with Snowpark Container ServicesExperience with GCP, Kubernetes, docker, and TerraformWorking knowledge of SQL and familiarity with data warehousingUnderstanding of authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth2Experience building LLM- or ML-based servicesThis role may be performed fully remotely within the United States for the ideal candidate.
