Senior Software Engineer
Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing both front-end and back-end components of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. Additionally, you will be looked to as a leader within the team to set a standard of excellence for more junior team members.
Responsibilities
Ā Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Angular for front-end and .NET for back-end API development.
Ā Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement innovative solutions.
Ā Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and design patterns.
Ā Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Ā Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Ā Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to improve our development processes.
Qualifications
Ā Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
Ā Strong proficiency in Angular and .NET frameworks.
Ā Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Ā Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (C#, SQL Server).
Ā Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Ā Experience and strong commitment to writing unit tests.
Ā Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ā Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Ā Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Ā Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure).
Ā Experience with Azure DevOps build and release pipelines.
Ā Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Ā Experience with tracing and logging solutions (e.g. Splunk, Jaeger)
