Senior Software Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing both front-end and back-end components of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. Additionally, you will be looked to as a leader within the team to set a standard of excellence for more junior team members.

Responsibilities
Ā• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Angular for front-end and .NET for back-end API development.
Ā• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement innovative solutions.
Ā• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and design patterns.
Ā• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Ā• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Ā• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to improve our development processes.

Qualifications
Ā• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
Ā• Strong proficiency in Angular and .NET frameworks.
Ā• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Ā• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (C#, SQL Server).
Ā• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Ā• Experience and strong commitment to writing unit tests.
Ā• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ā• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Ā• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have Qualifications:
Ā• Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure).
Ā• Experience with Azure DevOps build and release pipelines.
Ā• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Ā• Experience with tracing and logging solutions (e.g. Splunk, Jaeger)
