Senior SAP MM Consultant (Manufacturing Focus)

Seeking a highly experienced and solutions-driven Senior SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant for a contract engagement supporting our manufacturing operations in the Bay Area. This is a critical on-site role responsible for optimizing materials management processes, driving system enhancements, and ensuring tight integration with related SAP modules. We are looking for a seasoned expert with deep experience in manufacturing environments and a strong command of SAP MM functionalities. Required experience and qualifications: • SAP MM Expertise: • 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience. • Proven involvement in multiple full life cycle SAP implementation projects. • Manufacturing Industry Experience: • Extensive experience working within manufacturing environments. • Strong background configuring MM processes specific to production operations (procurement for production orders, plant-level inventory management, etc.). • Integration Knowledge: • Solid understanding of integration points between SAP MM and FI-CO (Finance & Controlling) as well as SD (Sales & Distribution). • Ability to articulate and troubleshoot process touchpoints between MM transactions, finance postings, and sales workflows. • Leadership (Highly Desirable): • Experience as a team lead or senior consultant overseeing project activities and mentoring junior team members. • On-site Requirement: • Must be available to work full-time on-site in the Bay Area, 5 days per week. No remote or hybrid work options. • Soft Skills: • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
