Senior React Native Mobile Engineer
Hi there,
Our client is building an IoT platform that connects physical devices to mobile, and we are looking for a Senior React Native engineer to own the mobile side of it.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain the iOS/Android mobile application
Implement core flows: login, profile, asset list, asset registration, gateway registration, BLE discovery / manual entry, alert inbox, alert details, acknowledgement, and activity log
Integrate Firebase Auth and push notifications
Implement QR scanning and device registration flows
Support BLE/device setup flows (scope confirmed separately)
Prepare and publish builds via Expo/EAS or equivalent
Required skills
React Native and TypeScript
Production experience shipping iOS and Android apps
Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) day-to-day
Firebase Auth and push notifications
QR scanning / camera integrations
App release and build pipeline experience
Strongly preferred
Expo / EAS
BLE integration experience
Offline or device-configuration flows
IoT / mobile hardware interaction experience
A note on how we work: We're a team that leans into modern tooling - AI coding assistants included. We'd love someone who's already made these tools part of their regular workflow, not just tried them out once. It's not a hard requirement, but it genuinely matters to us.
