Senior QA Engineer

We are currently looking for: Senior QA Engineer Project Description: In this role, you'll contribute to a banking app for a leading financial group in Japan. The team is contributing to the fintech project providing loans to funds managed by asset managers. The app is hosted on a stand-alone AWS account. This role involves mostly automation testing. Your Responsibilities : Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Daily standups. Design and document test cases using the TestRail test management tool. Contribute to developing new test cases using the custom automation framework with Python and Selenium wrappers. or automated testing. Explore edge cases and user behavior beyond standard test scenarios. Assess backlog items, identify potential risks, and ensure well-defined acceptance criteria. Provide developers with clear, concise, and actionable bug reports. Proactively suggest and implement improvements to the team's testing processes. Key Requirements: Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working in an international environment) 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience. Proven experience in test automation with Python and Selenium. Proficiency in test case design using tools like TestRail. Experience in Agile environments, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies. Strong analytical skills to identify edge cases and assess user behavior beyond standard test scenarios. ➕ Nice to have: Commercial experience with PyTest. Experience with performance, integration, and regression testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools. Knowledge of REST APIs and web services testing. Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS or Azure.
