[Remote] Senior Medicaid Policy Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Medicaid Policy Consultant to support state Medicaid agencies in improving their business processes and policies, implementing new programs, and ensuring compliance for better healthcare outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute project activities in coordination with a team and senior leadershipSupport multiple client projects through written communication, policy analysis, facilitation of client meetings, and project trackingCommunicate project progress and delivery status to clients and stakeholdersFacilitate meetings and manage project action items and reportingSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Management, or Public Health, or a similar field10+ years of professional experience in a related field5+ years of experience working for a state Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives or consulting with Medicaid agencies on policy initiativesExperience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to comply with the regulationExperience working with Medicaid payment authorities such as waivers and the state plan, including experience navigating the reimbursement portion of state plansDirect experience working with a Medicaid state planProficient with Microsoft desktop applications and standard document repositories such as MS SharePointWillingness to travel quarterly to GuamCompany OverviewCloud and Things is an experienced State and Local Government IT consulting firms.
