How You’ll Spend Your Day Ensure that products meet quality standards and other reliability standardsWork collaboratively and proactively with the product, design, and development teams to create effective testing solutions, troubleshoot issues, and get bugs resolvedCreate tests that provide the team with quick and reliable feedback, including the implementation of automated tests using commercially available and internal tools as part of a fast-paced teamCollaborate cross-department to accomplish quality and company objectivesWork effectively in a fast-paced environment where overtime hours are expected to meet deadlinesHands-on ability to write automation and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructureWrite moderately complex code/scripts to test systems, implementing test harnesses and infrastructure as necessaryReview and investigate incoming bugs from the field to determine relevant route for resolutionAssist customer facing personnel in regards to known issues and their workarounds Your Experience and Qualifications
4+ Years of professional experience with manual software testingExperience with Virtualization and end-user computing technologies (VMware, Citrix)Experience with IT systems (Domains, structure, permissions, etc) and computer networking principlesExperience with API testing (Postman)Experience with SaaS deployments in AWS/Azure - an advantageExperience with Azure - an advantageExperience with SQL DB and RT systems – an advantageExperience with automation testing tools and scripting language - an advantageFamiliarity with PostgreSQL and Kubernetes – an advantageFamiliarity with Splunk –an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across the organization and with customers/customer facing teamsAbility to work proactively and effectively in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment, provide process improvement recommendations and increase operational efficiencies by using technology and innovation
