You'll leverage your expertise in testing methodologies and e-commerce platforms—especially Shopify—to lead testing efforts and deliver high-quality deliverables. Working closely with stakeholders and development teams, you'll ensure our commerce solutions exceed client expectations.Please Note: This is a Contract position (hourly rate). The ideal candidate should be located in North America, with working hours aligned to Eastern Time (ET) or Pacific Time (PT).Lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies for e-commerce projectsApply proven manual testing methods to identify and document defectsTest e-commerce platforms thoroughly, focusing on Shopify functionality and integrationsCreate clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports for client reviewUse Jira to manage bug tracking, test cases, and QA workflowsCommunicate testing processes, results, and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Develop detailed test plans and systematic test cases based on business requirementsMaintain thorough test documentation for client deliverablesWork with clients to define acceptance criteria and provide regular status updatesManage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environmentCreate user-friendly documentation that clearly outlines testing coverage, methodologies, and results for client understanding.Requirements:Experience in QA engineering with a proven track record of leading testing effortsStrong experience with manual testing methodologies and practicesExperience testing e-commerce platforms, with Shopify experience strongly preferredExceptional documentation skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear, comprehensive test cases and reports that can be shared with clientsProficiency with Jira for bug tracking, test case management, and coordinating QA workflowsAbility to communicate testing processes, results, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience developing detailed test plans and systematic test cases from business requirementsStrong organizational skills to maintain thorough test documentation that serves as deliverables for clientsDemonstrated experience collaborating with clients on testing acceptance criteria and providing regular testing status updatesAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentExperience creating user-friendly documentation that clearly outlines testing coverage, methodologies, and resultsNice to Haves:The following would be bonus experience to have, though highlight any additional experience or skills you may have.
