Job Description

This is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity with a major global enterprise operating in the entertainment and media space. Contract Duration: 6 months
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of backend software development experience using Python
Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices
Deep familiarity with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, SQS, etc.)
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience designing and deploying serverless applications
Solid grasp of object-oriented and functional programming principles
Understanding of microservice architecture, event-driven design, and distributed systems
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with container platforms like Docker or Kubernetes
Comfort with architectural system design
Familiarity with message-based systems like Kinesis or Kafka
Excellent debugging, optimization, and system-level thinking
Exposure to high-traffic, low-latency application environments
