Role: Senior Power BI Architect

Summary:
The Microsoft Power BI Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Power BI solutions for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization concepts. They will also have experience with Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft data analytics tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable and secure Power BI solutions that meet the organization's business needs.
• Create and maintain data models that are optimized for performance and usability.
• Develop and implement Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business users to gather requirements and define solutions.
• Train and support users on Power BI tools and techniques.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Power BI features and functionality.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization concepts.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
• Experience with other Microsoft data analytics tools, such as SQL Server, Azure Data Lake Analytics, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Data Analytics.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Data Analytics.
• Experience with Tableau and/or QlikSense reporting environments.
• Experience with data governance and data quality practices.
• Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.
