following opening: Senior Oracle Financial Specialist
Duration: 1 Year Contract β Extensions Possible
Location: Providence, RI β Onsite preferred β Remote for the right candidate
Work Week: 35 Hours
Statement of Understanding
Oracle Financial Specialist will lead and assist in supporting, maintaining and developing the Departmentβs
Oracle EBS Financial System known as FMS. The Oracle ERP Modules include:
β Grants Management β Inventory β HRMS β Time and Labor (OTL)
β Acc. Receivable (AR) β Acc. Payable (AP) β Purchasing (PO) β General Ledger (GL)
The contractor Technical Lead will:
β’ Enhance / support the Oracle R12 Fin. Mngt. Syst. processes & address new areas of work.
β’ Work with the WorkDay HCM/Payroll & Financial integration team on Data Mapping and Integrations
β’ Work on Bridge Integrations between Oracle FMS and Workday as needed. New integrations from Oracle ERP include transaction on Purchase Orders, Invoices, GL, Grants, AR, Projects.
β’ Develop new reports and update existing FMS Oracle reports,
Required Experience 10+ Years Experience
The candidate must be (60%) Technical and (40%) Functional and possess the following skill sets:
β’ Well-versed with Procure-to-Pay modules and General Ledger (including SLA) -
β’ Understand how Oracle Grants/Projects work and its integration Oracle PO, AP, OTL
β’ Basics of Oracle HRMS, Oracle Time and Labor
β’ Technically strong in R12.2.x architecture and tech-stack
β’ Experience in developing Oracle integrations for Workday Projects is desired
The candidate must be technically strong in:
β Oracle Application Object β Oracle Forms 10G and Reports 10G β SQL, PL/SQL
β UNIX Shell Scripting β Oracle Applications Framework β Oracle Database 11g and 12c
β XML Publisher Reports β BI Publisher Reports β Linux/Unix

β’ Suggest improvements and map the requirements for the Oracle EBS environment
β’ Support and assist the internal IT team with support issues and key development areas
β’ Prepare project plans, estimates and milestones, task plans, test plans and defect tracking mechanisms to deliver and manage projects, customizations & enhancements
β’ Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12.2.X implementations, upgrades and support
β’ Knowledge of HRMS, OTL, Inventory, PO, AP, Grants, Subledger Accounting, and GL
β’ Design, develop and deliver high level custom solutions using:
o SQL and PL/SQL
o RICE Objects

β’ Perform gap fixes and performance tuning (Work with DBAs)
β’ Develop and deliver customizations and extensions
β’ Perform unit testing and coordinate with users for integration and system testing
β’ Manage and coordinate issue resolutions and escalations
β’ Coordinate with Oracle on Product bugs, patches and Service Request resolutions
β’ Weekly report on deliverables status and presentations with management
β’ Support, develop and modify Bridge Integrations from FMS Oracle ERP to Workday ERP.
β’ Develop New Oracle FMS Reports and Update existing Oracle FMS Reports with the Bridge Integrations from Oracle FMS to Workday ERP
β’ Examine and analyze the benefits & risks of the project β Assist stakeholders in decision making
β’ Implement effective risk management strategies
β’ Gather requirements and input
β’ Design, develop and deliver the projects on time with quality deliverables
β’ Document test plans and results, deployment plans
β’ Update project repository using industry documentation standards
β’ Review projects and coordinate with the Lead Consultant
