The OpportunityGood Inside is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer Contractor to join our core application team. This is a contract position and will report to the Mobile Engineering Manager. As a member of our core application team, you will be responsible for our core mobile user experiences. With a deep technical understanding of Mobile Engineering, both native and Flutter, and an eye for details and pixel perfect design, you will join our senior mobile team in delivering a best-in-class user experience. This role can be remote or hybrid if located in New York. What You’ll OwnThe design, development and maintenance of our Flutter based mobile applicationAct as a resource for other engineers, as well as product managers regarding all things mobileCollaborating with backend engineers on how to best serve and visualize dataWriting and distributing clear documentation regarding architectural choices and processesYour Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in native mobile development2 to 3 years of experience in Flutter and Dart.io A deep understanding of modern mobile development for both Android and iOSProficiency and active experience in backend development in any formYou possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsYou are a strong collaborator with the ability to foster solid team dynamics and effective cross-functional relationshipsYou are a team player who is willing to take direction but can get things done on your own with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsYou remain calm and organized when faced with shifting priorities and roadblocks Have the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and drive resultsYou are excited about Good Inside's mission and are passionate about improving the lives of parents and childrenStart Up Growth Experience: This isn’t your first time helping a high growth startup scale.
