Develop and implement mainframe security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices to protect client financial information.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
Monitor mainframe systems for potential security breaches and respond to any incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are implemented and maintained across all mainframe systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends in the financial industry to proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Continuously improve and optimize mainframe security processes and procedures to enhance overall system security.
Train and educate other team members on mainframe security best practices and procedures.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on mainframe security status and response to incidents.
Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure mainframe security measures are effectively integrated and maintained.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure mainframe security is maintained in the event of an emergency.
