Job Summary As a Senior Integration Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, delivering, and maintaining our software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our products are easy to install, maintain, support, use, upgrade, and service. You will work closely with our business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop software components, and perform unit testing to ensure proper functionality. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our product development forward and helping us achieve our corporate goals. Key Responsibilities Participate in business analysis, requirements gathering, and clarification for new product development and change requests. Provide effort estimates for assigned work and participate in overall system architecture and architectural solutions. Independently develop and maintain software components or products in compliance with department standards. Perform unit testing on software components or products to ensure proper functionality. Participate in peer design and code reviews, and contribute to the research of new tools, technologies, or product opportunities. Utilize product change management tools and adhere to corresponding processes. Perform setup and maintain development test lab, including all required testing equipment. Participate in product release training, installations, and general product support. Participate in 3rd level support to troubleshoot/resolve or escalate product defects to software development. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product architecture, high-level design, detailed design, database design, class diagrams, physical & deployment diagrams, etc. Make suggestions for improvement of company policies, procedures, and products. Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science or Engineering. At least 5 years of software development experience, with a focus on integration software engineering. Proven knowledge of programming languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, C# .Net 4.5 or higher, and WebApi Web Services. Experience with ASP.Net or MVC, Visual Studio & VSTS, and SQL (preferably SQL Server's Transact-SQL). Working knowledge of Operating Systems, including Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, Windows Server 2008, 2012, etc. Source Control knowledge, preferably Azure DevOps. General virtual machines knowledge and networking knowledge. Business/Requirements Analysis skills and working knowledge of SDLC using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Transportation Industry knowledge and Document Imaging experience is preferred.
